GreenRock Energy Brings Warmth to Chiayi, Supporting Children and Renewable Energy Education

GreenRock Energy (7833) delivered strong performance this year, marking its first participation in an energy exhibition where it showcased five comprehensive energy solutions and two smart platform systems, demonstrating the company’s professional expertise. Operational performance also progressed steadily, with cumulative revenue reaching NT$790 million in the first eleven months, representing year-on-year growth of over 30%. The company continues to move forward toward a new energy value defined by intelligence and sustainability.

GreenRock Energy General Manager Lai Ming-Hung stated that sustainability is a core pillar of ESG. Beyond serving as a professional partner in carbon reduction and energy transition for enterprises, GreenRock Energy has long embedded the principle of “community co-prosperity” into its corporate philosophy. On December 21 (Sunday), the company visited Xiuyuan Children's Home in Chiayi to host a winter charity event. In addition to making donations to help provide warm winter clothing for children, the GreenRock Energy team engaged closely with the children, using interactive board games to introduce renewable energy concepts in an enjoyable and educational way, allowing energy education to take root at an early age.

GreenRock Energy has long been deeply engaged in the Chiayi region and continues to promote the fishery-solar symbiosis model across its renewable energy projects. This approach aims to create a positive cycle of environmental sustainability, industrial co-prosperity, and community well-being. During the event, the concept of fishery-solar symbiosis was also introduced to the children, helping them understand that solar energy not only generates clean electricity but can also coexist with aquaculture, creating new opportunities for local development.

Lai Ming-Hung emphasized that corporate growth is built upon the support of both the land and society. GreenRock Energy firmly believes that community well-being is not merely a slogan, but a commitment that must be continuously put into practice. Through this winter charity initiative, the company hopes to help children stay warm during the colder months while planting a seed of sustainability and environmental awareness in their hearts.

In addition to supporting Xiuyuan Children’s Home, GreenRock Energy also extended assistance to after-school tutoring programs in rural areas operated by the China Catholic Our Lady of Mercy Foundation. Many students in these programs come from underprivileged backgrounds and have limited access to learning resources. Some children had long hoped to own mechanical pencils instead of relying solely on traditional pencils. Green Rock Energy invited each child to write a “Christmas Wish Card” and fulfilled these wishes by preparing educational Christmas gifts and extracurricular reading materials, enabling the children to study with better tools while experiencing the warmth of the holiday season.

Looking ahead, Green Rock Energy will continue to invest in charitable initiatives, supporting vulnerable communities, strengthening local engagement, and promoting energy education through concrete actions as part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility.
